NEW COFFEE TABLE....
SO I HAD TO SHOW YALL HOW MY COFFEE TABLE TURNED OUT. I FOUND THE BASE AT A GARAGE SALE. IT HAD THIS WAY TO LONG FORMICA WOOD TOP AND IT WAS NOT PRETTY. I TOOK THE TOP OF AND LEFT THE BASE AS IT WAS. IT ALREADY HAD THAT PERFECT WOOD PATINA. FOR THE TOP, A FRIEND AND I MADE IT OUT OF CONCRETE. IT TURNED OUT EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. I WILL BE KEEPING THIS COFFEE TABLE FOR QUITE AWHILE. ITS EASY TO CLEAN AND YOU CAN PUT YOUR FEET AND DRINKS ON THE TOP AND NOT WORRY ABOUT RUINING IT. I LOVE IT...

Love the table! Did you find anything on your hunt yesterday? I actually got that vintage borghese couch you posted last week! I had spotted it before I read your post, but that gave me the extra push I needed. :) Any recover ideas for me? It's upholstered on the back, and I was thinking of putting a pattern back there and doing the rest solid. It's for my hubby's office. Great job on the table!
The coffee table looks great! What a good idea with the concrete.
